First, we created HKeeper for ourselves.
I had quite a lot of experience in life and worked in different countries, including Russia, Sweden, Cyprus, and Great Britain, before becoming the founder of the HKeeper company. My husband and I had collected a small portfolio of commercial real estate, including hotels, vacation homes, and rental apartments located in all the listed countries, and we are still are hands-on owners and managers of our investments. Since we moved around a lot, we needed to be able to manage all of our properties remotely. We attempted to find software that would fulfill our needs. After months of due diligence, I realized that there was no single platform that offered an all-in-one tool and a solution that would give us the ability to manage and control business processes remotely. I clearly understood what was missing and what a management platform should look like fulfilling the needs of a hotelier or alternative accommodation provider for their everyday operations. We decided to develop our own software, which evolved into HKeeper.
In May 2017, our CTO - Alexei Eschenko, joined us, and we started to develop the HKeeper software and tested it on our own and our friends' properties. In 2018 our HKeeper platform was installed in four properties and was being used by a cleaning company.
Over the next two years, we had a fantastic experience, and at the end of April 2019, we decided to present our platform at HITEC in Minneapolis in June of that year.
Participating at HITECH was a pivotal point, during which we couldn't find any competitors, which in turn confirmed that we had built a necessary and unique software tool. HKeeper became a commercial product, and we started a new business.
In January of 2020, we launched our campaign and started to sell HKeeper to the hospitality industry.
I believe nothing happens in our lives by accident, and I am happy we launched HKeeper early in 2020 because such a tool is what is needed the most in today's situation with the COVID-19 crisis. It is an incredible feeling when you know that you can help owners to continue running their business and keep their employees and guests in a safe environment.
After three years of developing and testing HKeeper, I'm confident that we have created a one-of-a-kind ecosystem that unites information, processes, and people and provides a 360-degree view of workflows to nurture more successfully optimized business outcomes.
